Why should you vote.

Voting has been one of the biggest thing in NZ because choosing our government is pretty much deciding who’s going to lead us. In 1920 womans was allowed to vote and that made a big difference because some would vote and some wouldn’t same thing goes with boys\mens.  I’ll give you three reasons to think about it’ll be telling you should vote.

My first reason is voting. Some people don’t vote but complain when they see that the government they have is not a honest and a caring one. So they keep on complaining but what they need to know is that their vote could of made the differences between winning and losing. So therefore I ask you please do vote because your vote counts and that way you have a say on something you don’t like and want them to change it.

Second reason. It is free to vote it’s not like the All Blacks game where you have to pay to vote who scores the first try or like Floyd Mayweather and Conor Mcgregor's fight you have to pay for it. It’s because voting is free and it’s also just as important as anything else, Why can’t we make the most of it. You never know they might say that you have to pay to vote then that’s when you start complaining so I’ll tell you now we are lucky that it’s free so why can’t we treat it like we’re grateful and vote.

Third reason is that everyone over 18+s can vote woman's and mans. In August 18th 1920 women’s  were allowed to vote so from there on everyone over 18+ was allowed to vote. They should be grateful and not take that for granted and vote because woman's was complaining saying why can’t they vote. So in 1920 they were allowed to vote and half of them don’t and that half could make a big difference. Everyone over 18+ go and vote now for the sake of our country.

I come to my conclusion but I hope that these three reasons give you something to think about. I hope everyone is grateful and votes because your vote might make difference between losing and winning and you don't want to regret anything so go on and vote who you think should be our prime minister and government

The best Maniakalni Film Festival movie

This week has being a tough week. People being away and scrips getting changed last minutes but my experience about filming has being great. Our class has  3 different movies but those three different movies are being put together, What are the movies? Well you'll have to wait and see. My group was Thaisoni, Heather, Tevita N, Samoa, Ana L, Hosea, Angelo, Izaac and I. Being in their group was really fun I was playing the part of the "cool guy" I had a lot of fun playing the too cool guy for everything.

The three different movies are awesome I'm really glad that Mrs Tele'a decided that our class would all be in the film. Some class only one or 4 people will be in the film. This year our whole class is able to be in the film and I think that my class is really happy that everyone has a part in the film even if it's just walking past the camera.

Some challenges for me was time managing because I was down at aims so I didn't have a part in the movie so I had to wait and see if I might be in the movie. Mrs Tele'a is so great that she saved a part for me in the movie so all I had to do was learn my lines and act my part well.  I am grateful that Mrs Tele'a saved a part for me in the movie because it's my last year and I wanted to be in the film for my last year at P.E.S.

Some movie ideas for next year is Cyber smart, Don't be a bully and A day in Pt England School. These are just some ideas for next year. I think that a day in Pt England School would be really fun. It would be easy and fast to do if you're teacher is under pressure. Next year I would love to come back and watch some new movies that Pt England students.

This year my class room probably has the best movie not going to lie. I guess we'll have to wait and see at the Manaiakalani Film Festival.  This is a link to all Manaiakalni Film Festival it has all the schools that make movies just like our school,

Cross Country

On you're marks, Get set, GO!!!! and everyone just starts sprinting as fast as they can. Lanzie in the front and everyone trying to catch him. Second cone and I finally catched him now I was the target, everyone was trying to catch me on to the muddy fields and this just made it harder. What made us even more tired was trying to pull our legs out of the mud. First lap done and Thaisoni is the only one chasing me he stopped to have a rest and Flynlay run right passed him this was a lesson to never stop even if you think no one is close to you. Feeling proud of myself that I never stopped was a good feeling. I just went out there and gave it my best and I came 1st. Placing for me doesn't really matter as long as I push myself to my limits and I diffidently did. Coming 1st was just a bonus for me but every one else did good. Can't wait for fitness training again in team 5.
